   The availability the jacuzzi and having a room with a courtyard balcony helped to make our stay in Florence very memorable. It was great to be able to relax and cool off in the jacuzzi after a long hot day of sight-seeing. We especially enjoyed having a balcony overlooking the hotel courtyard. When I needed to locate the address of a particular shop, the desk clerk was very helpful in looking up and providing the necessary information to find the specialty shop in town.Thank you for a memorable stay.

   Das Hotel hat Atmosphäre, d.h. man fühlt sich wohl, wenn man eincheckt – die Leute sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Einen schönen Innenhof hat dieses Hotel auch mit einem Jaccuzzi. Für Rollstuhlfahrer ist dieses Hotel nicht geeignet – bereits bei Gehbehinderten Leuten sind Einschränkungen an der Mobilität angesagt. Hotel ist in der Via della Scala. Bahnhof in der Nähe wie auch die Pharmacie Santa Maria Novella (…)
   Im Hotel ist noch zu erwähnen, dass im Innengarten auch gegessen werden kann und das Speiserestaurant neu renoviert worden ist mit einer wunderschönen, beruhigenden Wasserwand. (…)

    Hotel de la chaine Best western situé dans le centre de Florence, à proximité à pied de tous les centres d’intérêt accueil soigné malgré un achat en promotion, nous n’avons pas senti la différence avec les clients payants plein tarif, cela est très agréable hôtel très propre
    petit déjeuner buffet qualitatif et quantitatif plusieurs terrasses fleuries et agréables le jaccuzzi à 20h en plein mois de février …. le top

    - en plein centre mais calme, parking avec service voiturier
    - personnel agréable parlant français
    - chambre très confortable et spacieuse
    - restaurant très correct concernant les prix et la qualité, vraiment très bien
    - plusieurs terrasses bien aménagées, fleuries
    - jaccuzzi impecable
    - parfait, chambre spacieuse, bien agencée, lit confortable
    - salle de bain très propre et neuve
    - pour un voyage en amoureux dans cette magnifique ville cet hôtel est parfait nous avons réservé par le biais d’un site qui propose des voyages à prix discount et avons été reçu comme si nous avions payé le tarif normal

    Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar neben dem Bahnhof und Santa Maria Novella; 5 min vom Dom entfernt

    ein sehr gepflegtes Hotel, mit ausnehmend freundlichem und gutem Service; reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet; obwohl sehr zentral gelegen ist es für Florenz doch relativ ruhig

    The proximity to the train station (we were travelling by train), as well as to many tourist destinations and piazzas. very easy to get around the city and still be close to your hotel! We only had one full day in firenze and needed assistance on what we should do to really maximize our time. the staff was very very helpful in letting us know what tours/activities were available to us. definitely the best few days we could have had in florence!!

    Very good location for key tourist sites; eating places and for train station access. Rooms were very adequate without being luxuriuos. We enjoyed our own sunny balcony and in partucilar the room was very quiet at night and free from distracting lights. The curtains kept external light out helping us get good nights sleep following international flights.

    Bellissimo hotel. Centralissimo e vicino alla Stazione SMN.
    Profesisonalità e cortesia sono al massimo, a tutti i livelli.
    Le stanze sono pulite e il bagno in ordine.
    Colazione meravigliosa e le ragazze sono molto gentili (la qualità dei prodotti è ottima !!!!!!).
    I servizi offerti sono tantissimi e per tutti. Per questo motivo, penso che il rapporto qualità/prezzo non ha eguali.
    Ritornerò a Firenze per più giorni e sicuramente sceglierò il Rivoli.

    We had a fabulous stay at the hotel. Initial confusion over room booked was rectified quickly and without fuss. Room was clean and spacious. Excellent location for arriving by train and then enjoying the sights of the city by foot. Staff were very helpful and extremely friendly – especially with our 13 month old daughter. Outside garden area is a very pleasant space to enjoy a quiet drink in the evening. We would certainly stay again if we return to Florence.

    We stayed in the Hotel Rivoli in July 2010 and found the hotel to be very clean and the staff helpful and friendly. We could walk to all the sites from the hotel and it was great to come back to a clean spacious room. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the jacuzzi – very nice.

    Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr zu empfehlen
    Das Hotel verdient die Hotelbewertung von 4 Sternen plus. Rund herum haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Dies liegt an dem schönen, geschmackvoll eingerichtetet Hotel, dem sehr höflichen Personal, der Lage, die die Stadt problemlos erkunden lässt und die Nähe von Bus, Bahn und Taxi für weitere Unternehmungen. Das Frühstück entspricht dem gewohnten Standart, auch mit dem Angebot an warmen Frühstücksspeisen. Gerne wieder und das Hotel empfehlen wir sehr gerne weiter.

    I have received an email survey from Best Western International, Inc., regarding our recent stay at the Rivoli. I will reply but that survey is not sufficient to express the incredible experience Gina and I enjoyed at Rivoli in Florence. My belief is that attitude, responsiveness, training, and Customer Satisfaction are elements that begin at the top of an organization/team and are then emulated by team members.

    Although my wife and I have vacationed in Venice before, we had never been to Tuscany, I sent email to the Rivoli before my arrival I explained in my email that this was our first visit to Florence and that I was using a GPS for our entire trip, and that we were celebrating Gina’s birthday and our 25th wedding anniversary. The Rivoli sended us an email with the GPS coordinates, and let us know the Rivoli was looking forward to our visit. This is important to remember: I believe it sets the stage for our entirely positive experience at the Rivoli. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and professionally by Ermelinda. Ermelinda asked if we could be patient, as she wanted to make sure she had a special room for us, given the circumstances of our visit. Gina and I were very content to sit in Rivoli’s lovely lounge, enjoy a cold beer and the welcome air conditioning(…) Just as we finished our frosty beer (…) we were shown to our lovely room with a beautiful balcony, and management had a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket as a gift to Gina and I – a very nice, unexpected, touch of Rivoli hospitality. That was just the beginning of Rivoli hospitality!

    (…) Francesca Mannelli (…) at the front desk. What an incredible lady! Warm, smiling always, friendly, helpful, engaging, professional, and Francesca just made us feel at home… Whenever we needed directions, a recommended restaurant, event ideas, how we should plan our excursions, how we should pace ourselves, where to go for shopping or the purchase of train tickets when we finally had to leave for Rome, Francesca graciously took time to be thorough and made sure we understood everything. Gina and I felt as though Francesca was our personal concierge. (…) Francesca comprehends and exudes Customer satisfaction – something many speak of but few grasp and live it every day… I experienced this attitude, this personality, every day, and when sitting in the lounge, heard the same Francesca with all of her other Customer engagements

    ABOUT BENEDICTA RESTAURANT:
    The only mistake we made during our stay in Florence was having dinner one evening at a restaurant outside the Rivoli. That restaurant was more expensive, the food was average, and the service only satisfactory. This was not the awesome Benedicta at Rivoli. The finest meal we had in Florence was at the Benedicta! When we entered Benedicta we were greeted by Luciano, the manager of Benedicta; what a warm, wonderful, happy person! We also found out that Luciano is the husband of our very favorite breakfast person that Gina and I love and went out of way to extend our buon giornos, Nicoletta, and the father to Francesco, another outstanding member of the Rivoli team. Gina and I just smiled at each other, as we connected the branches of that family tree, and said you can tell they are family – great people – great manners – great on Customer satisfaction!
    We actually gave the menus back to Luciano, and just asked him to surprise us; from start to finish, each course better than the last, we had the best meal and the best time in any restaurant in Florence (…) Nicoletta and Luciano are cornerstones of Rivoli success!

    After reading numerous previous reviews from American tourists we decided to book this hotel for our 4.5 days stay in December 2009. We were coming from Rome to Florence by a train, so an easy and short (7 min!!) walk to the hotel from train station after 10 pm was one of the main factors that we chose this hotel. The hotel is simply beautiful. Especially its courtyard,although the whole first floor with old beans, old main doors, paintings, rugs, etc was beautiful as well. Our room was simple, but really big comparing with “standard” (1 meter by 1 meter) size of the most of Italian hotels. The bathroom was great!!!!! Special was breakfast–our waiter was amazing guy, very friendly, always had a few nice words for each tourist to welcome. Breakfast was served of an excellent quality in the very modern with tough of history beautiful room!!!!! Plenty of snack to take with you for a long day. We walked everywhere, after midnight, and always safely were back. This hotel has everything what you need that enjoy Florence!!!! The front desk guy provided us with plenty of maps of restaurants, told us his favorite, made calls, etc.

    The location of Hotel Rivoli could not have been better. The staff was top notch, with a special thanks going out to Ermelinda. She totally rocks. The hotel was beautiful, spotless and I could not have asked for a more beautiful room which had a private terrace that was such a wonderful and pleasant surprise. This is the only hotel that I will be staying in when I return to Florence for future trips.
    There is absolutely nothing that I did not like about the hotel, other than that I had to leave it. I could have stayed in this hotel forever.

    La limpieza de la habitación y del baño eran “impecables”, su desayuno era variado (fruta, cereales, zumos, capuchino,…) se encontraba muy bien situado para visitar la ciudad y para acceder a la estación de tren, dispone de muchos restaurantes cercanos para cenar, y la habitación aunque su ventanal era a la calle principal no se percibían ruidos durante las noches para dormir. En resumen lo recomiendo.

    Excellent mid range hotel in Florence

    The Rivoli was in a superb location if you travel by bus or train as it’s 5 minutes walk from the station. it is also only approx 10 minutes walk into the main area for shops and restaurants, of which there are many. The location was safe and had some character. All the staff were most helpful in every aspect and were very friendly with good english language skills. The rooms were of a good size and kept very clean. The breakfast is only average although a limited cooked option of scrambled egg, bacon and sausage is included , so not bad for a continental hotel although the breakfast room can get fairly busy at peak times. Overall a more than satisfactory choice for our stay in Florence.
