The ORTOMED (Italian Society of orthopedics and medicine) organizes the V° medical congress ORTOMED. The three days program will start with a symposium about “Fractures caused by bone fragility” (followed by some readings) and will end with a symposium about “Fracture unit model” (followed by supplementary readings).
The second day opens with some introductory readings, followed by the third symposium about “ Cellular therapies treating bone illness” and by the fourth about “The strontium ranelate and the fractures caused by bone fragility”, the fifth about “The bio-materials and the growth factors in the bone regeneration” and finally the sixth symposium about “ Controversies about the anti-fracturative ”. To close the third day of works the participants will discuss about the iusse “Painful prosthesis” and “ Bone and Brain”; the congress will be enriched by interventions by prominent figures in the field, who will discuss about various topics that characterize the congress.
