Palazzo dei Congressi

As usual in the Autumn it will be held the V° AMD (Diabetes Association) National Congress, an event that offers delegates the opportunity to participate in cultural  and research activities organized by the scientific society. The program is designed following scientific  CSR indications and it’s supported by the Foundation. The convention is the way in which AMD becomes a cultural workshop open to collaboration with all partners, to the dialogue and comparasions.

The new tour of Sting in autumn touches also some Italian cities and it begins October 25 at the Teatro Verdi in Florence. A fine series of concerts during which the artist dusts off his successes in key symphony known as the title promises the title of the recent album Symphonicitiese that is reminiscent Synchronicity of 1983′s.

One of the greatest painters of the sixteenth century, Agnolo di Cosimo Tori, known as Bronzino (1503-1572), embodied the fullness of the ‘modern manner’ in the years of the government of Cosimo I de’ Medici.Florence is clearly the preferential location for a monographic exhibition on Bronzino, since the majority of his paintings are still conserved here, above all in the Uffizi, but also in other city museums and in the churches.

The first exhibition that is dedicated to Giovanfrancesco Rustici, a sculptor born in 1475 in Florence, formed in the famous Garden of San Marco under the patronage of Lorenzo the Magnificent, the inheritor of the lesson workshops of Andrea del Verrocchio and Benedetto da Maiano.

Through 100 operas, coming from exclusive private collections and from some of the most important museums of the world, this great show tells the extraordinary artistic adventure of Giorgio De Chirico and the double influence that his painting had on modern art and on painters like Carrà, Morandi, or Max Ernst, Magritte and Balthus.
