The Salone del Mobile in Florence is the most complete and qualified exhibition of furniture and furnishings at the national level. The presence of selected exhibitors from all over Italy, allows visitors to the Salone del Mobile access to a diverse showcase, where there are the latest in the field of furniture, furnishings, lighting, furnishings garden, as well as the materials to refurbish and renovate the house.

Nine days to develop and commercialize innovative cultures and traditional products that bind the various sectors with a view to craft a fruitful meeting and exchange between the made in Italy (with his innate creativity and originality) and multiculturalism. In Florence, the capital par excellence, fine art and centuries-old experience of the ‘handmade’.

The third is characterized by two elements, in addition to those classics of ICAR organized so far.The first is the presence in the calendar of the Congress of the International AIDS Society (IAS), to be held in July 2011 in Rome.

Baci is one of the most original events taking place this year at the Fiera di Firenze. The event is divided into two parts: Kisses Large Sculpture Competition, which will involve all participants in a contest of big sculptures with inflatable balls. The competition, open to teams already registered, will be held in the first two days of the fair Kisses, the spaces of the Fortezza da Basso.

Acknowledged by UNESCO as Heritage of humankind in 1982, the Historic Centre of Florence, enclosed by a circle of avenues traced out on the medieval city walls, assembles the most important cultural goods of Florence. The 17th December 2010, in occasion of the anniversary of recognition by UNESCO, the intention is to focus the attention on the important themes of protection, preservation and enhancement about the historic centre of Florence.
