The dates of the 74th edition of the florentine Maggio Musicale, go on.
Normally this event is going to finish with the date of the 30thJune with the gala of “MaggioDanza” and the 2nd July with the concert of Zubin Metha, with the Maggio chorus and Vladim Repim playing Verdi and Ciaikovski, all in the Signoria Square.
But the surprise of this edition of Maggio Musicale is his lenghtening with dates in the middle of July; in fact the events organised by the Maggio Fiorentino association foresee date in the Cascine amphitheatre where Friday 15th, Saturday 16th, Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th will go on stage the “Cappello di paglia di Firenze” of Nino Rota, in memories of the centenary of his birth.
