“Estate al Bargello” returns in Florence! The Bargello attests the past and the art of the city and it will host about 50 events, that will start June 23rd and will finish September 3rd. From June 23th to July 19th there will be the XXII edition of Florence Dance Festival directed by Marga Nativo and Keith Ferrone. 8 wonderful performances of the made in Italy. They will start with “Trittico Novecento” of the Accademia del Teatro della Scala, choreograph created by William Forsythe, Jiří Kylián e Angelin Preljocaj (June 23rd ). Then the “Quattro Maggiore – Adi Da Samraj per Vivaldi” of the Florence Dance Company (June 29th e 30th and July 1st), “La Traviata, Maria Callas il mito” of Fredy Franzutti with the Balletto del Sud (July 5th). It will continue with “Aterballetto Suite”( July 7th), the Balletto di Roma in “Bolero, serata d’autore” (July 11th), Contempo Danza! (July 13th) and the Scènes de Ballet di Geoffrey Cauley (July 15th and 16th); the last one will be “FlorenceDanceBook… promessa alla danza” (July 19th).
For those who love classical music and opera there will be three concerts organized by A. Co. Mus International (July 3rd, 28th and 29th).
Is it not enough? 5 events organized by the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina directd by Giuseppe Lanzetta will take place at the Bargello; among the guests the violoncellist Giovanni Sollima (July 12th), the corean violoncellist Meongwon Cho (18th July) and the l’Ensamle dell’Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Roma (July 21st).
Don’t forget the “Discorso a due: Liszt, Dante e Michelangelo”. A tribute to the italian art played by the art critic Vittorio Sgarbi and the piano of Nazareno Carusi.
July27th the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina will execute the “Pellicole di musica”.
Last but not least “La Beffa Del Grasso Legnaiuolo” of the Scuola Nazionale Comici “Massimo Troisi” (from August 31st to September 3rd).
