The 27th SIMG Congress will take plase as usual in Florence, this event represents the most important moment of meeting for the General Medicine. This congress represents the most important showcase of Italian general practitioners, as it’s the main scientific and political event of italian general medicine and it will be an opportunity to meet and dialogue for all representatives of the profession, from medicine specialist to the university, nurses, the institutions and citizens’ representatives.
The main goal is the clinical efficiency, the excellent organization of care processes and health outcomes that could substantially change the profile of mortality of acute illness, but especially of frequent chronic illness. The SIMG (Italian Society of General Medicine) has the reputation, and during the congress it will be given evidence, to have identified in recent years a scientifically rigorous method to be followed, in order to transform the General Practice in the leader division of primary care. The conference program is scheduled and as usual it will give a large space to members announcements. As every year it will be repeated the “Poster Session” that will allow authors to expose their works and to answer to any questions the other interested colleagues may have.
