FROM SEPTEMBER IN FLORENCE…

For all the curious people who want to discover the many episodes that involved the local authorities and Florentine citiziens in the past centuries, are invited on September 12th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to the extraordinary opening of the Archives of Florence, showed with guided tours and the exhibition of documents dating back to the 19th century. Visitors can see the different rooms and stores of Palazzo Bastoni, seat of the city archives which houses a rich documentation that will bring to light old stories and disputes of other times. VERDI THEATRE

Cats, one of the greatest theatrical successes of all times for spectators, plays number and collections, wins the challenge and by popular demand it comes back on stage also in Italy during 2010/2011 season. Cats from the book of T.S. Eliot’s “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats” is not only a translation but a reinterpretation of the historical musical.

Entirely dedicated to communication, creativity and art, the Creativity Festival is an event hosted annually by the Fortezza da Basso  in Florence. Every year the festival collect thousands of visitors among tourists, students and curious.

The 27th SIMG Congress will take plase as usual in Florence, this event represents the most important moment of meeting for the General Medicine. This congress represents the most important showcase of Italian general practitioners, as it’s the main scientific and political event of italian general medicine and it will be an opportunity to meet and dialogue for all representatives of the profession, from medicine specialist to the university, nurses, the institutions and citizens’ representatives.

Fortezza da Basso

Also this year it will be the Fortezza da Basso in Florence to host the XXII° International Congress SIDO (Italian Society of Orthodontics), which comes with a  scientific program of high quality, that gives the opportunity to the attendees to apply the clinical updates since returning to their dental surgeries. This year the theme is focused on personalization of treatment oriented to get better the life conditions of the patient during orthodontic treatment.

The ORTOMED (Italian Society of orthopedics and medicine) organizes the V° medical congress ORTOMED. The three days program will start with a symposium about   “Fractures caused by bone fragility” (followed by some readings) and will end with a symposium about   “Fracture unit model”  (followed by supplementary readings).

As usual in the Autumn it will be held the V° AMD (Diabetes Association) National Congress, an event that offers delegates the opportunity to participate in cultural  and research activities organized by the scientific society. The program is designed following scientific  CSR indications and it’s supported by the Foundation. The convention is the way in which AMD becomes a cultural workshop open to collaboration with all partners, to the dialogue and comparasions.
