A wine tour through the Oltrarno streets and squares is what Florence Wine Event proposes during the week-end

From 25th to 27th September 2009 Florence Wine Event takes place in Florence: a wine itinerary tour in the streets of historical city centre that includes Piazza Pitti, Piazza Santo Spirito, Piazza della Passera and San Niccolò district. Walking through Florence during these three days is possible to meet the best Italian and Tuscany wine companies that will be happy to welcome you and presenting their products. The local restaurants and wineries will offer different tasting menues, to give you the opportunity to discover the best combination of wine and typical food, the festival proposes also guided tasting tour with experienced sommerliers and journalists discovering the best Tuscany wines (available upon reservation only).

STANDS OPENING HOURS

Friday from 5.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Saturday from 11.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Sunday from 11.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.

You can buy the tasting kit at any GLASS POINT (located in Piazza Pitti, Piazza Santo Spirito e Piazza Demidoff ) that includes:
1. 2009 FWE brochure.
2. TASTING Glass
3. SHOULDER-BAG for your Glass.
4. WINE CARD that allows 12 tastes.
