The Maggio Musicale Fiorentino offers Verdi

Today 23rd September, from Loggia del Porcellino to Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Repubblica, the most famous notes of Verdi’s masterpieces will be played to open the TEATRIaperti festival.
The Teatro del Maggio get out from its formal building and offers a preview of Recondita Armonia! – an invitation to all-aged public to know the opera thanks to the big italian repertory, that from 3rd to 18th October will be played every nights by young talents of Maggio Fiorentino Formazione. Tonight it will be possible to listen the most famous arias in one of the most central located squares of Florence.
La Traviata, Il Trovatore e Rigoletto, three Verdi’s masterpieces, will be performed. The Maggio Musicale Fiorentino will offer to the public the most known and loved arias of these three important works: “Libiam nei lieti calici”, “Sempre libera”, “De’ miei bollenti spiriti”, “Di Provenza il mare e il suol”, “Parigi o cara” part of La Traviata; from Il Trovatore: “Stride la vampa”, “Condotta ell’era in ceppi”, “Il balen del suo sorriso”, “Di quella pira”; and “Pari siamo”, “Caro nome”, “La donna è mobile” and “Un dì se ben rammentami” part of Rigoletto.
