Also this year it will be the Fortezza da Basso in Florence to host the XXII° International Congress SIDO (Italian Society of Orthodontics), which comes with a scientific program of high quality, that gives the opportunity to the attendees to apply the clinical updates since returning to their dental surgeries. This year the theme is focused on personalization of treatment oriented to get better the life conditions of the patient during orthodontic treatment.
To develop the program of the Congress “Patient-friendly Orthodontics”, were called national and international estimate speakers with experties in this field. The conference topic sessions are: “Patient-Orthodontist Interaction: from scientific evidence to the patient’s needs”, “Patient-Orthodontist Interaction: when the visible brace is a problem”, “Answer to the patient needs: reducing the cure time and collaboration”. During the congress it will be also a particular moment dedicated to the awards: National SIDO Award; Lifetime Achievement Award; and Ten-Year Progress in Orthodontics Award. A great opportunity to reassert, especially to young dentists, that the good of the patient must always be the focus of dental care and clinical research.
