Paris, capital of photography 1920-1940

An invitation to all the passionates of photography at MNAF – Alinari National Museum of Photography - in which’ll be open from Jenuary 14 to April 11, 2010 the exposition called “Parigi capitale della fotografia 1920-1940 (Paris, capital of photography 1920-1940)” Christian Bouqueret Collection.
It concerns a show organized by Jeu de Paume of Paris in collaboration with Fratelli Alinari Foundation for the Photography History in Florence.
In the 20’s Paris imposes as the center of artistic vanguard in Europe and is chosen as the home from a lot of photographers of different nationalities and cultures, thanks above all to the political and religious freedom guaranteed also to the exsiles.
Alinari dedicates a first great show to the production of more than fourty photographers that have worked in Paris from 1920 to 1940, with the relatives original documents.
