From 8th to 10th September 2009, on the occasion of the thirty-year anniversay of legendary concert which was helt by Patti Smith on 10th September 1979, Florence will celebrate the priestess of rock through some events dedicated to her
One of the most remarkable and expected one will be held at Galleria Poggiali e Forconi on 8th September during the opening of exhibition “Patti Smith: photos for Florence”.
The priestess of rock will perfom at a short live concert. Johnatan Nelson e Lorenzo Poggiali, editors of the exhibition, will present 80 black-and-white polaroids choosen by Patti Smith as phraseology of her love for Florence.
The Hotel Rivoli, which is from always preferred partner of Galleria Poggiali e Forconi, thanks to their closeness in the same historical palace; is glad to include in the room rate the entrance ticket to the Patti Smith Exhibition Opening.
